Cellist Carina Drury was awarded a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music in London in 2003, and continued her MMus studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Carina performed as principal cello with the European Union Baroque Orchestra in 2010.
She now works with baroque and modern ensembles such as La Serenissima, English Baroque Soloists, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Irish Baroque Orchestra, Camerata Ireland and the City of London Sinfonia. Carina gave her concerto debut at the National Concert Hall in Dublin in 2013, performing C.P.E. Bachʼs Cello Concerto in A major with the Orchestra of St. Cecilia and she has recorded a Geminiani Cello Sonata on the ‘Directed by Handel’ album for Barn Cottage Records.
